Anglesey's fairytale manor with 28 bedrooms and private path to a ruined castle by the sea
The property lies a designated UNESCO World Heritage site with Lleiniog beach less than 300 metres away

By all accounts, this is a place with more than enough room for most people. As well as 28 bedrooms, there are 15 bathrooms and 17 reception rooms spread across a manor house and its seven cottages.
The Tros-yr Afon estate is enveloped by stunning countryside near Beaumaris, Anglesey. It’s been used as a wedding venue and self catering holiday lets, but the historic manor hall is now on the market for £2.95 million.
At once, the estate offers both a unique home and business proposition. Within walking distance of the coast, it has more than seven acres of bluebell woods and a private path to the ruins of Aberlleiniog Castle.

Tros-yr Afon was built in 1834 as an imposing and impressive manor house, reports WalesOnline. Attractive stone buildings clustered around a pretty courtyard were transformed into seven holiday lets during the 1980s.
Current owners James and Zoe fell in love with Beaumaris from the moment they first first visited in 2008. No sooner were they home from one trip, they were planning their next, saying “it just seemed to burrow under our skin”.
The grounds of the manor house are as enchanting as its location. As well as woods and lawns offering plenty of private walk, there’s abundance of wildlife and birds. It's a sanctuary for visitors of all types.
Tros-yr Afon is for sale for £2,950,000 with estate agent Thornley Groves. To find out more, call Tom at the company’s Hale branch on 0161 942 4137.
