Born and raised in Mumbai, Radhika graduated with an MBA in finance from Brandeis University in 2013. Struggling with health issues, she took a break from work to learn Ashtanga yoga in Mysore. After years of asana practice, she was inspired to pursue yoga studies academically. Exploring various courses, Radhika realized she was essentially studying Hindu Dharma, which motivated her to seek an authentic program, leading her to HUA. She is also a student of Paramaguru Sharath Jois, the current head of the Ashtanga lineage and grandson of Pattabhi Jois, a disciple of T. Krishnamacharya.
