A police appeal has been launched after a "fatal collision". It happened on Heritage Way, in Brymbo, Wrexham, on Saturday November 25. The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene.

North Wales Police put out two statements. The first, after the incident, said: "Following a police incident the Brymbo link road/Heritage Way at Southsea, Wrexham is currently closed and will remain closed for some time. Please avoid the area, thank you."

A second statement by the force yesterday said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Heritage Way in Brymbo last night, Saturday the 25th of November. This incident is sadly being investigated as a fatal collision.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dashcam footage from the area to contact police. If anyone has information that could assist in our ongoing investigations, they are urged to contact police via our web chat facility or by calling 101, quoting reference 23001189665."
