Dr. Kanniks Kannikeswaran is an internationally known musician, composer, music educator and scholar with several recordings, large scale musical productions and scores to his credit. Through his pioneering work in Indian American choral and orchestral music based on ragas, he has built diverse coalitions between amateur and professional musicians and ensembles, academic institutions, dance companies and more. He has taught graduate level courses in Indian Music Theory, History, and Creativity at the University of Cincinnati, and has received several accolades.
