Two men were arrested after police raided a building, near Holyhead, yesterday (Thursday) and discovered "large-scale cannabis cultivation". They were arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

A statement by North Wales Police said: "Two men have been arrested today following the discovery of a large-scale cannabis cultivation on Anglesey.

"The arrests were made as part of a co-ordinated search warrant, which was carried out an address in Caergeiliog, near Holyhead.

"Upon accessing the building, officers found a sophisticated cannabis cultivation contained within. Two males aged 32 and 25 were subsequently arrested on suspicion of drug offences."

Both men were in police custody yesterday.
