A three-bedroom house on Anglesey billed as an "excellent first time buy or investment" may end up selling for as little as £50,000. The terraced property in Pentrefelin, near Amlwch, is set to go under the hammer on Thursday, November 9.
With a guide price far lower than the average house price on Anglesey, the listing may pique the interest of anyone looking to get a foot on the property ladder. And while it may need some work, it doesn't need a complete overhaul like most properties in this price bracket.
A short distance away from Amlwch, the house comprises a lounge, kitchen and rear porch on the ground floor, with the three bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor, as well as a small yard to the back.

The décor needs a bit of work. The living room has an electric fire that's seen better days and would benefit from a new carpet and a fresh lick of paint to the walls.
The kitchen is where most of the work appears to be needed. There's no cooker and the units and floor tiles need replacing but these are jobs that are often needed with much pricier properties than this one.
The same goes for the bathroom upstairs which appears a bit grubby in the listing. There appears to be a bit of mould in one of the corners and at the very least, you would want some kind of new flooring and wall tiles.
Two of the bedrooms are of a similar size with another slightly smaller one. These rooms don't appear to need as much work as other sections of the house - they're similar to the living room with perhaps a new carpet and a fresh lick of paint enough to do the job.
With a guide price of £50,000, the house will be sold via public auction held at the town hall in Llangefni. For more information on the sale, you can view the listing here.
