A former Flintshire pub has gone up for sale. The Gwysaney Arms on the Denbigh Road in Rhydymwyn has fallen into disrepair after closing down several years ago.

The site, which is on sale for £300,000, is billed by the estate agents as a "development opportunity". The pub itself is currently not fit for habitation, according to the listing, and needs a full programme of renovation.

The spacious building contains 10 en-suite bedrooms and owners accommodation. The 0.81 acre site also has a large car park that can fit around 50 cars.

There's also scope for beer gardens and a play area, the listing adds. With the scale of the work needed, however, the pub is unlikely to open any time soon. You can find more information on the sale here.
