A North Wales band are creating a bit of a buzz on the coast as they get set to play a much-anticipated hometown gig this weekend. The Montagues return to Rhyl Town Hall on Saturday night to play their biggest hometown show yet along with very special guests Haig and Sustinere.

The band, who have been described as "high-octane Rhyl rockers with stadium-sized riffs" all hail from the Denbighshire coast area. The band are a five-piece Alt Rock/Indie outfit and are comprised of guitarist Jack Mayall, bassist Jonny Taylor, drummer Jack Wells, keys Oli Harman and charismatic frontman Kyle Parry on vocals and guitar.

According to their website: "The band are split between Conwy and Liverpool with an emerging fan base on both sides of the Mersey. The Montagues played the Cavern Club as part of Dave Monks Presents in the summer 2022 and have recently sold out two shows back to back including a 250 capacity venue."

Lead singer Kyle Parry told North Wales Live: "Wales has always been our heart and soul, and headlining our hometown gig at Rhyl Town Hall this Saturday is a dream come true for The Montagues. We've poured our hearts into creating an unforgettable show, complete with electrifying support bands Haig and Sustinere, and a few surprises up our sleeves.
