A stretch of the A548 was closed following a crash. Motorists were urged to avoid the crash, which happened near Llangernyw in Conwy.
A North Wales Police statement said: "Due to a road traffic collision the A548 going towards Llangernyw from Llanrwst is closed - just after turning for the Old Vicarage, Pandy Tudur. Please avoid the area for the time being.

Road has reopened after crash involving van
North Wales Police has released a statement on the crash earlier today:
We were called at 9.26am reporting a single vehicle RTC involving a van on the A548 near Pandy Tudur.
The road was closed whilst recovery services cleared the van and it reopened at approximately 11.45am.
