Partners
HUA has three kinds of Institutional partnerships – Subsidiaries, Alliances and Affiliations. HUA’s subsidiaries are wholly owned and governed by HUA’s Board of Trustees. HUA’s alliances are independent organizations which offer curricula, teaching materials and/or faculty, and augment and enhance HUA’s curricular offerings. HUA’s affiliates benefit from HUA’s programs and offerings, and function as additional channels through which HUA reaches out to the American Hindu community facilitating new students to enter the HUA family.
Subsidiaries
California College of Ayurveda (CCA) is a subsidiary of HUA and is based in Nevada city, California. CCA is one of the oldest and well respected institutions engaged in the teaching of Ayurveda in the West. CCA became a part of the HUA family in August 2024. It offers Professional Certification Programs in Ayurveda and Integrative Health. CCA’s programs are designed to train practitioners of ayurveda, a mode of healing and medical practice born of Vedic Hindu thought and developed in ancient India. The merger of CCA with HUA expands the range and depth of Professional Certification Programs in Ayurveda at HUA.
Alliances
MIT-IIKS is an alliance partner of HUA and is based in Pune – Maharashtra, India. Institute of Indic Knowledge Studies (IIKS) is part of MIT Group of Institutions under the aegis of the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering & Education Research (MAEER) Trust established in 1983 in Pune Maharashtra. MAEER is a well-known educational trust with 71 Institutions delivering Kindergarten through Postgraduate education. IIKS brings a well developed and unique curriculum in Sanskrit at the graduate level offered by exceptional scholars who are both traditionally trained and have a PhD in Sanskrit. Through this partnership, HUA offers the Master of Arts in Sanskrit program internationally.
