A Grade II listed Georgian country house in Flintshire has gone up for sale. Plas Nant Y Glyn, near Nercwys, was built in 1821.

The site was acquired by the church that year from Elizabeth Giffard of the Nercwys Hall estate to provide a residence for the curate of Treuddyn. The house was then sold in 1852 when further alterations were made. It was then remodelled in 1948 in its present folly style.

It became a listed building in 1994 for being a "simple Regency curate's house with honest mid-C19 additions", according to Cadw. The site, which also includes a small cottage and outbuildings, is surrounded by gardens, three fenced fields and a belt of woods.
