Savour some Christmas cheer early this year at a festive event in beautiful Denbighshire. Organisers at Plas Newydd in Llangollen are planning to spread some seasonal sparkle.

The historic house and gardens will once again be hosting the annual Christmas at Plas Newydd event for 2023 on Saturday, December 9. A programme of activities during the day will bring seasonal sparkle to the grounds and a touch of Christmas magic for families to enjoy.

That day visitors can shop with a selection of local makers at an Artisan Winter Market, wave to Father Christmas as he makes a special visit to Plas Newydd and enjoy festive tunes by Llangollen Silver Band. The Grade II-star listed house, run by Denbighshire County Council, was once home to Lady Eleanor Butler and Sarah Ponsonby, known as the Ladies of Llangollen
