Two people were rushed to hospital with “serious injuries” after a road smash on Anglesey this morning.

North Wales Police are now trying to trace a black motor scooter seen in the area at the time.

The collision occurred near Bryngwran in the early hours of Saturday morning, September 23.

Sgt Danny Rees said officers received reports of a road traffic collision on the A5 Holyhead Road at 3.42am.

Two casualties were subsequenty admitted to hospital with injuries regarded as serious.

Sgt Rees is now hoping for the public’s help.

He said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the road traffic collision to come forward.

“Also, anyone who may have seen, or have CCTV or dashcam footage of, a black Piaggio Fly motor scooter travelling in the area around the time of the collision.

“If anyone has any information relating to this collision please contact police.”
